Requesting a Quote

If you use our online form, one of our Comfort Consultants will contact you directly. Regardless of which method you use to request a quote, our consultants will do their very best to answer your questions as completely as possible, and schedule and in-home appointment, which is convenient for you.

Our in-home consultation appointment is FREE! The reason we visit your Calgary home is to sit down with you to discuss and determine you exact needs, what equipment you require, and what is the best solutions for YOUR home.

When determining the most appropriate solutions for YOUR home, our experts evaluate the age of the home, the size of the home, and the current location of the equipment.

However, with each step up, there are additional benefits you receive, like improved energy efficiency, so making an upfront investment now, tends to pay off in the long run. But, you do not have to worry. Our professionals will go over each of the benefits, pros/cons, features, and options of each system at each level to assist you with selecting the heating and cooling system to address all of your needs and your budget.

Added Value Options

During the in-home consultation appointment, our experts will provide you information about other components which provide added value to our home heating and cooling system solutions, including energy efficient thermostats, air cleaners, humidifiers, and humidistats. These options enhance your home comfort and helps alleviate uneven temperatures, provide cleaner air, and dryness.

Preparing Your Customized Quote

Now that we have all of the information, in regards to the model/size furnace/air conditioner, and any optional components you want to include, we prepare your quote and email it to you within 24 to 48 hours after our in-home consultation appointment. Furnace/Air Conditioner Installation

Distinct Heating & Cooling does not require a deposit to schedule your furnace/air conditioner installation. We are confident in our processes and customers, and only request to be paid AFTER the job is completed to your satisfaction.

On the day of your schedule installation, which is booked based on a time/day convenient for you, you are greeted by your Comfort Consultant and our experienced installation crew. Prior to starting work, your Comfort Consultant and installation crew will explain an overview of your installation processes.

The reason we do this is to confirm there are no misunderstandings or miscommunications. It allows us to verify with you, your understanding of the quote and what will occur during the installation. It is important to us you are confident with our installation crew and their abilities to correctly perform the installation, while they take care of your home and treat it like it was their own.

If there are ever any misunderstandings, your Comfort Consultant will discuss these with you and no work will proceed until you are in agreement about exactly what is to be done. After the installation, the installation crew performs a detailed, two page factory startup of your new system. This process allows them to review all the work that was completed, as well as the equipment that was installed, to ensure it is operating correctly, efficiently, safely, and reliably.


Once the installation of your new heating and cooling system and any related options you choose is completed, your Comfort Consultant comes back to your home to meet with you. During this follow-up meeting, they will review the factory startup forms the installation crew completed, and verify the quality of your installation. They will conduct their own internal quality control review and confirm everything was completed as promised, to your satisfaction.

After performing the quality control review, your Comfort Consultant reviews all of the documentation for your new system with you. They will do a complete walk-through with you to ensure you understand how to operate your new system correctly.

Annual Maintenance

Annual maintenance is an important part of maintaining the efficiency, safety, and reliability of your new home heating and cooling system. Many Distinct Heating & Cooling customers want us to come back each year to perform our annual maintenance tune-up on their new and existing systems. Our goal is to take care of your home heating and cooling needs throughout the entire lifespan of your equipment.

Around the anniversary month of your installation, one of our maintenance coordinators contacts you to schedule an appointment that is convenient for you, with one of our professional service technicians. Annual maintenance with Distinct Heating & Cooling also allows us to verify the warranties on all of your home heating and cooling equipment.
