Nate and his team got to work to install and hook up three heat registers in our home. He even called in a team to cut a porcelain tile in order to install one of the registers. They worked efficiently and cleaned up after themselves. If it weren’t for the welcomed added warmth in our home, 😊, we would not have known they were even here. These guys do an awesome job.

Distinct Heating and Cooling has been to my house a few times and have been a great resource for me. My technician for this service was Jordan and he has helped me before. I was happy to have him back and he did a great job again. Along with regular maintenance on my furnace, I thought my humidification wasn’t working and wanted it checked out. Jordan did a great job explaining how it was supposed to work and then showed me that it was, in fact, working. He left me feeling a lot more confident that my heating system was going to get me through the winter. Thanks Jordan.

We have been using Distinct heating and cooling for several years and have been extremely satisfied with their service. Owain did our most recent service on our furnace, he also checked our humidifier and found that it was working just fine. There was no attempt to up sell me on a new filter. Distinct heating and cooling employ honest, reliable, qualified personnel.

The Distinct team arrived on time as promised and finished the job on time as advised on arrival. The installers’ work was well organized and very neat. I found Distinct heating from Homestars about 8 years ago when I needed a furnace replaced. Since then, I've used them for my yearly maintenance as well as an air conditioner install, and a second furnace replacement (different property). I have always been extremely happy with their service. Every technician I've met has been professional, informed and honest. I completely trust their skills and knowledge and would absolutely recommend them to anyone.

I had my AC unit serviced today by Owain. I was also having some noises coming from my furnace. Owain did a complete check and took the time to explain exactly what was happening. Fortunately, it was nothing serious. My AC unit was cleaned, all the parts checked and one part was replaced under warranty. It is now running at top efficiency. I have always been very pleased with my service and repairs with Distinct Heating and Cooling. They are reliable, honest and skilled.
Response from the owner:Hi Jane, Thank you for taking the time to leave Owain a 5 star review! We are happy to hear that he was able to properly diagnose the noise issues as well as took the time to explain exactly what was happening. I am sure knowing that you had a full 10 year parts and labour warranty helps put your mind at ease knowing that if anything should break or stop working on your equipment, that it is all covered! We always try to get to our existing customers with issues on the same day they call and provide our customers with honest and skilled Journeyman Technicians. We are so happy to hear that you have been very pleased with the service and repairs we have provided you with and we thank you for staying on top of your yearly maintenances as well which is a critical part of making sure your equipment continue to run for many more years! Have a wonderful summer Jane!

We recently moved into a new place that had had some questionable DIY renovations done over the years. Due to this, the vent in the master bedroom was making extremely loud popping noises when the furnace came on and it was becoming impossible to sleep. Jordan came out to take a look and he was able to tack part of the ducting to the vent opening to try and stop the noise. It thankfully worked and I no longer have to wear ear plugs to be able to sleep! Both Jordan and Nate were extremely honest with me up front about the fact that this may not work (and that the ducting may have to be redone in the future), so I’m thrilled that the popping has stopped for now. Will definitely recommend this company to family and friends!
Response from the owner:Thank you for taking the time to leave us a 5 star review Madison! We are so happy to hear that Jordan was able to fix the popping noise in your ductwork that was keeping you up. We always like to be honest and upfront with all of our customers and appreciate your recommendation of our small family run business! Have a wonderful summer!

We have used Distinct Heating and Cooling for years and continue to be happy with their quality of service. Always on time, honest in their assessments and services and reasonable pricing. I had to do a quick edit of the name...You would think after 18 years I would stop calling it 'Distinctive' 🙂
Response from the owner:Thank you for taking the time to leave us a 5 star review and for being a loyal customer of ours over the years, we greatly appreciate it! We do our best to be on time and our Journeyman technicians do not work on commission so we are honest on our assessments of what you truly need. We look forward to continuing to work with you for many more years and hope you have a wonderful summer!

Distinct installed a double set of furnaces and AC units. The pre-job discussions with Nate were very thorough and honest. The installation by Kristian & Jaden was top notch from start to finish. These gents had a great work ethic with a high knowledge and skill set to complete the job. Their cleanliness and respect of our property during the job was great. Super nice as well! A very clear and understandable walk through of the systems was provided at the end of the job. Would very highly recommend!!
Response from the owner:Thank you so much for taking the time to share your experience! We truly appreciate your kind words and are thrilled to hear that you had a great experience from the initial consultation with Nate through the installation with Kristian and Jaden. We'll be sure to pass along your compliments to the team—they'll be proud to know their professionalism, attention to detail, and respect for your home made such a positive impression.
